Dr. Mathes utilizes a variety of chiropractic techniques to best suit each patient's unique needs, from traditional methods to Activator Method.

Activator is a low force technique using a hand held instrument to accurately adjust the spine and other bones for optimum healing. As part of a holistic health care delivery system, Dr. Mathes also utilizes acupuncture, herbal medicine and physical modalities.

Dr. Mathes' Waterville office is a modern 1,000 square foot facility located in a three story health care building on College Avenue across from the Waterville Post Office. There is an elevator at the west entrance. X-ray facilities and physical modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical muscle stimulation, are available right in the office.

Dr. Mathes is a participating provider with Anthem BC/BS, Cigna, Aetna, Harvard Pilgrim, United Health Care, Med Net, Comp Net and Medicare.
